Nicole Michelin has avoided Planes and Japan her whole life, until she starts corresponding with Harrison, a professor from Kyoto.

We vacation every year in North Carolina, so I thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of the people and the local towns.

Kindle freebie. This one surprised me a little. Sweet story with interesting characters, quick, enjoyable read. It is technically Christian fiction, but the religious underpinnings are subtle and mature. The only thing that irked me was the plot line, where everything wrapped up a little too nicely, but overall, a cute story about close Southern female family relationships.
