this book was really difficult to read. The reason being that it was so disturbing. I was ready to stop after about 100 pages but since I had read Gone Girl, I was curious as to the twist that Flynn would throw in. I was almost half finished so I carried on. I had the MBP figured out and then of course thought I knew how it would end. I just hope that Gillian Flynn has a good therapist.

This is a fantastic author. I believe this was the first book she wrote (I loved Gone Girl so I am reading everything she wrote, I start Dark Places soon). This is another psychological/crime thriller. An investigator with a dark and twisty past of her own, is called to be the reporter and investigate the two murders of young girls who happen to be from her home town.
