While the plot's twists are painfully easy to predict (save an intense memento mori at the end), Flynn does a nice job of putting her story together and reflecting her heroine's thoroughly skewed inner world.

Gillian Flynn is a great writer. She knows how to use words to wrap you in, and a plot that entices you to read no matter how dark and morbid the subject matter. Her stories are raw and powerful. But sometimes she shows me things I wished I never knew or thought about.
This book deals with a dark mystery and an even darker heroine. But the plot gets even darker.
This may be a book for people who like it that dark and twisted.
