I like this book even more than The Lacuna, which I thought was very good. My favorite scene is when the main character encounters a well-meaning guy who is giving out leaflets with wildly out-of-touch advice. Through her story and the characters in it, Kingsolver captures the climate change debate movingly and with great insight.

Very thought-provoking. I love Kingsolver's characters in this story and the way she makes them extremely believable, with lives that extend beyond the borders of the novel. I listened to the audiobook and the author's voice is wonderful. I've been noticing butterflies everywhere since I started reading this book.
