Another excellent entry in the Armand Gamache series, this book has an intriguing plot, in which two investigations are interwoven, making both Gamache and Jean Guy Beauvoir weave their movements around each other in a complicated dance of police work that brings them both to the answers they seek as well as to some resolution for a horrible experience both had in an earlier story.
