This is an excellent story of the multi-generational Wheelwright family who has a summer house on Nantucket. It is the story of one summer in their lives, but it is a summer that has life-changing events for nearly every member of the family as they deal with personal crises, family crises, and the changing circumstances of life as they know it. There are quite a few surprises along the way. It is a great read!
