Boasts many of the classic Bosch themes - looking back into long-past crimes, chafing under the yoke of authority, and dogged pursuit of the truth. While the climactic sequence has a bit of the Michael Bay nonsense action about it, it's still a welcome return of the Bosch we know and love.

Connelly continues to turn out books with several twists and lots of information about how cops work cases. This one is no exception
