What Members Thought
I didn't react as negatively to this book as some of my fellow book club members. I found the first half quite gripping although it is difficult (disturbing content). I thought the language of the book was beautiful in many ways and the translation is well done. this book is not for those faint of heart as there are a number of graphic parts that are hard to digest. I found the last 30% of the book to totally drag except for the last few pages.
