What Members Thought
I don't know what I think of this one. I really enjoyed it, and I can't wait to read the next one, but at the same time, it wasn't really very good, the characters were often idiots, and it had that "middle book" feel: it was just kind of moving events along in the series, but not really a book in itself. Jace confronts Valentine, they all fight, blah blah. But you can be sure I'm reading #3 soon!

This book was as good as the first one. No HUGE revelations, but definitely advanced the story well. I loved that Luke had a bigger role in this book. The cliff-hanger is killing me. I am looking forward to read the rest of the books!
This installment of The Mortal Instruments series was awesome. It was full of action and some mystery. There were a lot of unexpected twists. I liked it a lot.
