I grew up in the sixties and seventies when there were lots of books about the Holocaust: The Odessa File, for example, was one of my favorites, about the search for former Nazis in hiding, as well as The Boys from Brazil and others. I began this book with expectations of really liking it as I've previously read other books concerned with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Whilst I enjoyed it in as far as the author writes fairly well and it was a very engaging story it seemed to lack something along the way.
