I went into this one expecting that I'd toss it against the wall in short order, but surprisingly no - for all her flaws, memoir-Jen (presumably at least somewhat distinguishable from actual-Jen, given the high drama quotient) clearly shows the change in her perspective while neither given her old self a pass or being too smug about her reformed self.
