My intellectual pride is wounded as I have no desire to finish this book. I bought the Spark Notes to help me get through it and I can appreciate that the multiple narrators concept was very novel in 1930. I understand the themes and characterizations. I found myself forcing myself to read this and I finally thought, "why?"
