Detective Logan McRae is a likable character but I won't be reading anymore of this series. It's not that the book is poorly written but the content was just to grotesque for this reader. I was compelled to finish it but felt sick to my stomach doing so because of the extreme descriptions of violence in the book. Just not my cup of tea but I gave it four stars because it is well written and character driven.
