I liked this book a lot but I liked 1# and 3# better. This one introduces new characters that live in NYC. It was a good story and there were some very sad things in this book but something about 1 and 3 I just liked better for whatever reason. If you read book 1 I recommend reading 2 and especially 3. Alex and his younger sister Julie show up in book 3 so its important to know what happened to them in this book.
