So happy to see Emily Giffin get back to writing really enjoyable chick-lit. The two books before this were alternately annoying and boring/unmemorable so I picked this one up planning to give it her one last chance to remind me of why I loved 'Something Borrowed' and 'Something Blue' so much.

She has succeeded remarkably. It had everything I want from chick lit. Sweet, poignant, funny, fizzy and engrossing. Welcome back Emily Giffin, welcome back. ...more

A feel good book about adoption and its aftermath. In this case the adoption was successful for all concerned so we end up with a generally happy ending for all.

This book was nice. I liked it. I was slightly put off from reading it, because of the whole amazon review debacle, but I am glad I finally read it. The adoption story is very compelling, I don't know of too many books that deal with this angle of it. I liked the main characters too, they were both flawed, which made them seem very much human.
