1 1/2 stars! After years of hearing people talk about these books I finally read the first one and was surprised that I really enjoyed it. I choose “Lite” reading when I don’t really have time to read. I was ok with the first two but this one was, well, annoying. The mystery itself unfolds pretty much as one predicts early on. The details about what Stephanie eats and what she is wearing became “please get on with this story” irritations. I spent much of this book wondering why I was not reading

What can one say about a Stephanie Plum novel. Chicklit. Some laugh-out-loud moments, some for-crying-out-loud moments, and another quick, very light read.
Examples: "Ranger declined the butterscotch pudding, not wanting to disrupt the consistency of his blood sugar level. I had two puddings and coffee, choosing to keep my pancreas at peak performance. Use it or lose it is my philosophy"

Great audio book SERIES for the car! I'm really loving this whole series. Nothing to intellectually challenging, but lots of fun. Love that Grandma!

I've read all of Evanovich's mysteries so far. They seem to keep getting better and better. I hope to reread the entire series soon.
