I watched the movie some years back, and was captured by the bleak dystopia it presented (I am a sucker for dystopian tales). The graphic novel is much harsher in its depiction of this world, and there are some truly violent and psychologically disturbing scenes here.

I generally don't read many books from this genre. This was kind of hard for me to follow. And the themes were very heavy handed. Not my favorite book...
