What Members Thought
Powerful little story, but having grown up in a similar town at the time the story is set, I wasn't shocked. Some stupid historical errors--there were no "hip replacements" in 1974 for example. Minor and wouldn't be noticed by younger readers.
Can't put this down when I've found time to read this week. It's good--not "fabulous" but a good story. No, sorry, I don't think it's the "new" To Kill a Mockingbird (I liked TKAM but don't get that it's the best book ever.....)
