This is a fantastic personal book. It is not a feel good fix it book. It is very addicting. Steve Lopez did great bringing us into the world of My Ayers. Highly recommend.

3.5 stars. I liked the movie and liked the book even better. The book realistically shows the timeline of months and years that it took the bond to develop between Steve Lopez and Nathaniel Ayers. A very tragic but uplifting story.
