So I just re-read this book after a good 20 years. I really had no recollection of it other than I had really liked it, and I recall thinking at the time that I finally understood what different dimensions were. Funny, but 20 years later, I got completely different things out of it. I am glad I read it again though. This book was a big deal at my elementary school in the 70s. We read the book and saw the movie as a school (about 200 kids). So, I was interested in revisiting this book as an adult. I wasn't big into scifi as a kid and still am not attracted to this genre as an adult. Despite this, it's an interesting story and I am looking forward to the movie version due out soon.
