Airplane book. Read on flights #40, 41, and 42 of the last 12 months. Not that I'm counting. I don't think that mass-market legal thriller meets the Amish is necessarily Jodi Picoult's strong point. I got into the story enough to read the end way before finishing the book though.

This one is probably my favorite of Picoult's - all of her hallmarks are here, but she adds the extra layer of bringing you into a culture that most people aren't familiar with. A great place to start if you haven't read her before.

Well, the first time I tried to read a Jodi Picoult book, I couldn't get past the first 10 pages, so this is an improvement. I read it in 3 days, mostly on the beach. It was that kind of book.

I really liked this. I love learning about different cultures, and this one was a great glimpse into the Amish life. I also loved that the twist was not predictable.
