Quentin "Q" Jacobsen has always had a crush on his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegleman. One night in their senior year of high school Margo takes Q out for a night of pranks then the next day she disappears. Q spends the rest of the book trying to find her. I liked the pranks at the beginning and the road trip later in the book. The rest of the book dragged and was full of annoying pseudo psychology about how we are all connected but nobody can really know another. Also way too much repeating what Wh

Well boo on this one. I was really enjoying the beginning of the book (albeit it was highly implausible) with the mysterious Margo and her childhood friend "Q" running around town and causing havoc. No one really knows Margo and we start to learn that perhaps she isn't just the pretty/popular girl in town. I also appreciated learning about paper towns. Rather fascinating really.

Q has admired Margo since they were childhood friends, but now all he knows about her are rumors of her epic runaway road tri

The book was in 3 parts:
1. REVENGE — where Margo and Quentin (Q) pull an all-nighter, revenging other kids in their high school (who have done Margo wrong) with silly pranks.
2. OBSESSION — where Q, the main character who tells t ...more

I really wanted to like this book, but just didn't love it. It seemed to drag on a little bit and I really couldn't get into Margo.

If you've read one John Green novel, you've read them all...and yet they are all entertaining. I can see why he's a favorite author of the YA crowd.
