different style, a little too much of the "f" word for my tastes but it kept me reading. I wanted at first to find out what had caused Web to be such an asshole, then I wanted to keep reading to see if he would redeem himself. Very interesting in how the author uses cleaning aspect of the job and life in so many ways. I also have to say that I kept reading because "Web" referenced Joe Lansdale as an author had recently been reading. I am a fan and figured if Mr. Huston liked Lansdale he was wort ...more

Web's backstory is slightly contrived and his romance a bit thin, but I enjoy him so much as a character that I'm willing to overlook it. Definitely pulpy with a hint of Christopher Moore's beta-male stylings make for a lot of fun. And naming a character DingBang? Awesome. ...more
