This sharply rendered and very brief narrative about the effects of returning from war on an African American soldier packs a punch. In true Morrison fashion, the story she crafts is rooted in two main images: the burial of a man when Frank and his sister were children and a young Korean girl that Frank comes in contact with during the war.
