What an amazing story. This is a non-fiction story of Hana Brady, an 11 yr old Jewish girl and Fumiko, a curator at a Japanese museum who is seeking to teach Japanese children about the Holocaust.

A true story. A museum curator in Japan requested some items from Europe that had been possessions of Holocaust victims. She was sent a suitcase that belonged to a little girl. Some Japanese children were curious about the little girl and they began to see what they could find out about her. A sad yet lovely story.

A wonderful, touching book that brings the story of a young girl to life. It is a gentle way to introduce children to the horrors of the Holocaust. I highly recommend this book.
