3 and a half stars really. I agree with the cover blurb: "a blockbuster of a book that you won't want to put down"- ok that's cheating, but perfectly describes this book. Two strong male characters, at least one strong female one, the background of colonial India and mining both there and in Cornwall, kept things moving along. Towards the end the love triangle got a bit too much for me, then the actual ending redeemed it. Entertaining, interesting and at the end the author reveals that much of t
