The third book chronologically in the Narnia series. Shasta escapes from his cruel master with the help of a talkin horse that was kidnapped from Narnia named Bree and along the way he meets a girl with a talking horse whoa re also escaping to Narnia. I found the story enjoyable and like that the female character wasn't as wimpy as Susan and Lucy were in the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe.

I really enjoyed this installment #3 of The Chronicles of Narnia. Didn't really remember much of all this, it being so long since I've read through the series. I liked how the boy was the horses'--and not the other way around...at least until he had grown in many ways and it was finally revealed who he really was all along. Another audiobook borrowed from our US library & listened to on my iPhone.
