This peek into the life of teenage Alexander (the great) is told from his tutor's viewpoint--the tutor just happening to be Aristotle. The characters are wonderfully fleshed out and even minor characters have depth. Fascinating depictions of life in Macedonia as well as of the customs of ancient Greek.
