I really liked it but its distracting to have everything rewritten into American. Fecking becomes fucking - which is too harsh... wan becomes one which makes no sense. So buy the original written in the original where it will make more sense.

I like the style, and I liked Paula's attempts to figure out what sort of woman she had become, but I wish the actual story had a bit more structure. An interesting character piece, but not my favorite Doyle novel. ...more
