unique and somewhat effectiveway of telling a story from multiple viewpoints. A large animal vet in rural New England is the principal character. His son is injured in a hunting accident and is in a coma for most of the book. The agaonies that his parents and siblings go through as well as the desire to punish the person responsible for the accident colors most of the dialogue. This book was okay. At times I really liked it, and it brought a smile to my face. At other times, when I was wanting the story to progress the style became a bit tedious.
