Liked it; didn't love it. Didn't feel especially drawn to any of the characters. Some suspense, but not "I just can't put this down!" suspense. I might try the next in the series to see if these pick up. I've heard good things about Ridley Pearson.

Sun Valley, Idaho sheriff Walt Fleming is helping protect Elizabeth Shaler ahead of her announcement that she is running for president at the G3 conference. Walt saved her life 8 years ago. There is an assassin after Shaler and we learn his identity early in the book with several chapters from his point of view. What a great book! Especially fun for those of us who lived in or around the Sun Valley area. Chock full of local references, people, places. Made me quite homesick, I must admit :) The hubby loved this one too! Consider us Pearson fans!
