A decent novel about family secrets, tragedy, and relationships between parents and children. It also discussed a bit about Down Syndrome in the 60s and 70s. The alternating point of views is pretty refreshing, and some of the characters are quite memorable, although I can't sympathize with a few.
Also, the author loved to give very detailed descriptions of seasons, weather, and so on. It's engaging but sometimes a bit boring XD I read the translated version and it's pretty good. All in all, Kim ...more
