I have never read Jodi Picoult, and was never interested, until I stumbled upon this book, which was included in a lot of 20 other used books I bought from an estate sale.

The premise of the story was interesting; a genetically hand picked baby who was conceived to save her sibling, who, at the age of thirteen, sued her parents for the right for her own body. It was interesting enough that I read it in single sitting staying up until 3 am.

Very sad. I do remember there was a part in the end that I thought didn't make sense, or quite fit what the author was saying happened. I'll have to go back and check it out. ...more
