Wasn't the best book I ever read, but it wasn't bad. It pretty much held my interest. It's just that it didn't seem real, almost like la-la-land, with too many ups and downs like a roller coaster.
HATED the mother in the very beginning for disowning her daughter. Absolutely loved this book!! I seem to like dysfunctional family sagas by southern writers.
