Whoa! Who knew the early 20th century could be so scandalous? This book is bombshell after bombshell pretty much, but in a good way. I love the character growth. The character Penelope Hayes reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara. This is a definite page turner. And in terms of scandal, gives Gossip Girl a serious run for it's money. Because I've read the entire series and GG never gets this scandalous. Highly recommended!

Why oh why am I reading this implausible turn of the century Desperate Housewives prequel??!! It's Chicklit, so I've given it license to stretch, but this storyline is awfully far fetched. Yet I want to know how the drama ends...and so I persist...
