This book definitely changed my outlook on life. It combines philosophy with the complexity of human emotion. It is an egaging story with excellent plot and well-written characters who all struggle. Howard Roark's character is deep and complex yet his mannerisms and decisions are all strangely simple. He is the definition of a "man" or what men should aspire to. I fell in love with him. You dont have to agree with Ayn Rand's philosophy to appreciate the truth in The Fountainhead. ...more
