A moving portrait of the impact on a family and a town when a teenage girl is violently murdered--including the impact on the deceased herself as she watches her loved ones from the afterlife. There's no mystery as to whodunnit, since we "see" the murder, and the dead teen also watches the murderer's life play out. This is a novel about a young girl who is raped and murdered and goes to heaven. While shes in heaven, she watches down over her family to see how they are doing and she also watches the police and see how they are doing on solving her case. So the book switches back and forth from Heaven to Earth...sort of a yin/yang thing going on. I liked it a lot. It was very suspenseful...couldn't put it down.
