What Members Thought
Wow, just wow. I think I am being very generous giving this book two stars, but I have to remember that if any of the rest of the series are worse I will need some way to demonstrate that. It also provides a reasonable amount of unintentional LOLs, so kudos. I chose to read the Twilight series after resisting for years because I wanted to understand the pop-cultural significance of the series. I will say that I wasn't creeped out so much as I was simply bored.

Picked this up at the airport on the way to a funeral because I wanted something mindless. Well-written for what it is: a drama/romance written for teenage girls. The first half dragged on pretty slowly for me but I kept at it and the second half admittedly did keep my attention because of it's fast pace and because you genuinely like/connect with the characters and are interested in the outcome. I probably will not go out of my way to read the rest of the series.

500 pages of "he's so dreamy!" Had to read it to see what the hype was all about. I'm feel ashamed to be human when this book is so popular.

Enjoyable, exciting, a bit cheesy in some of the dialogue, but still, a very entertaining and creative read!
Have to read it before the movie comes out!
