Enjoyable, but could have been tighter. Some nice twists in the plot and interesting characters. The story is reminiscent of other mysteries I've read, but ads some unique twists. That said, not sure it works for Nesbo to park Harry's girlfriend, Rakel, and her son over in Russia where she is dealing with a terrible custody battle with her ex-husband. This seems an artificial plot contrivance to temporarily remove her from this story and Harry does not seem convincingly concerned or engaged in h

I really like Jo Nesbo’s books, although I found this one a little more challenging than the previous 3. There were several plots running along side by side through the book, sometimes interconnected. And I put the book aside twice to focus on library books, which meant it was hard work picking up the various threads each time. But Harry is such a delightful character that I persist. And it was worth it in the end.
