Surprisingly terrific - I was worried that it would be sentimental in a saccharine way (which I loathe), but it's not. Instead, the elements of sweetness are genuine rather than a mere gloss of southern charm. An impressive achievement in its clear-eyed and even-handed view of the civil rights era in Mississippi.

Audible edition.

Really enjoyed this one. Gripping story that kept me turning pages. Also like the unique perspectives of the characters. Helped me peek into people's lives I really know nothing about.
