A lovely book that I didn't quite love. I worry I'm losing my attention span and struggling to appreciate quieter books. I found Maggie a bit tiresome and the constant jokes about her driving like a bad movie but her meddling was top-notch and wistful memories of an imperfect family moving. ...more

I can't say that I liked the main female character because she was much too involved in parts of her children's and husband's lives in areas she had no right to probe, but Tyler made her totally believable. ...more
