I had a tough go at reading this book. Took me forever to finish it. I don't think it was the book in general - I think the content was intreging. I would recommend this book because it has a unique beauty and also an educational awaking about the subject matter .

Fantastically long tale of a hermaphrodite’s life experiences and the family’s past that may have created this gene anomaly. Interesting and very well written, tightly woven story line.
