This book was just wonderful. It was beautifully written in the perspective of the person with Alzheimer's so you could see her rapid decline. The chapters were written by each month so you could also follow her progression that way as well. It was powerfully sad but evoking of all emotions. You could feel what each family member and Alice were all going through with the diagnosis. It also makes you realize how important the little things are in life especially when you realize that one day you ...more

A very thought provoking and compelling read. I would say unputdownable but the fact is that some parts were so heart-wrenching that I had to take a break from it at times. Wonderful!

Heartfelt, realistic and very very frightening! This one really makes you think (and cry)! I loved that it was from the perspective of the person with the disease.
