This guy's childhood was "a little weird. Ok a lot weird". He writes in short sentences, somewhat child-like, and surely embroiders the truth in pursuit of shock value and black humour. ...more

I found this book neither funny or shocking. Instead it seemed the author was trying too hard. If this was his true life, I feel really sorry for him. Honestly, though, child sexual abuse is never funny.

This memoir was touted as "entertaining". I found it about as much fun as sticking a fork in my eye. I don't think I've read any other book with so many disfunctional people, disfunctioning so extremely. ...more
