I wrap myself up with Dandelion Wine every August and settle in to remember the summer and welcome the fall. Every year, I find something new to savor in it. The magic that pours out of this book never ceases to grab me.

This book read like a dream, as indeed it is - for Bradbury says in his introduction that he would construct each chapter based on word association every morning - almost as though he was retrieving fragments of dreams not quite cast off when he woke.
