A reader couldn't not like this book. I must have two dozen dog-eared pages and underlined passages in here. That's one of the many things I got from this book: permission I'd forgotten about to write in my books. (I read so many library books, I got out of that habit.) But this book I own and I doubt I'd even lend it away--though there's a chapter on sharing books--because of the list of books in the back. Some parts of this book were a little slow, but I can't give it below 4 stars because I found it inspiring. It made me think of my own life, my own family and the roles books have played in it and how they will in the future. It inspired me to give them a more dominant space in my life and to step away from the ever encroaching technology. A great book for true bibilophiles.

I finished this book the first week of January and found it to be an inspiring way to begin a new year of reading. While I won't be reading a book a day, I do hope to read more books this year and I hope to share more of what I read with others and hope others share more of what they are reading with me.
