On the balance, I enjoyed this book more than I didn't. It's well written and very engaging. Plus the twist at the end was something I would never have guessed, but still made sense.
Having said that, this was my first introduction to Cornwell's books and I'm not sure I'm eager to read more. It was darker than I expected, which is okay, but I also didn't really care for any of the main characters, which is not.
