How I loved this grown up fairy tale.
The concept of the story, involving lightening strike survivors, is something I've never read about before and so was fascinated - even if it's not true!
The story is unpredictable and I found it very moving. I finished the book during my lunchbreak at work and had to work really hard not to cry at the end.

The idea is interesting, but the book was just dull. The main character was not that interesting. The whole entire time I was reading it I wanted it to finally end. And it was kind of depressing... The writing was decent though.
