Two weeks of reading bliss. That's what this book was. A book written by a genius, about another genius. This is a fantastic, engrossing, illuminating, surprising read.
I went into it knowing I loved Isaacson, and expecting to love Jobs too. In his younger days, and as an adult too, there were lots of reasons not to like him. Gripping and pulling read into the guy. You have to wonder if he really was that much of an ass, that weird on food, and that hard on his employees...? Overall the picture pulls out the extremes, and I ended the book thinking this guy is just a bit unbalanced. That makes for a good read...but a realistic perception, I question.
A must read book though for anyone who lived through these pretty dramatic shifts in the technology world.
