Call me crazy, but I never got what the big deal about this book was. Maybe a generational thing......
Wow!
Gone With the Wind has been one of those books that I've always been ashamed to admit that I haven't read, until now. What a story of survival! My heart went out to Scarlet, and I was always hoping that she would come out on top.
This book is so amazing, it's no wonder that so many people read this book over and over. It's not a book that one can fully comprehend in one reading. I know that I'll be coming back to it to read it again with new eyes and more understanding of the characters.
